How It Works


Contact us using the Lesson Request Form, by phone or by email. We will contact you, assess your needs and match you with a teacher in your area.  The teacher will contact you to set up a no-obligation in-studio consultation.  This is a great way to meet the teacher and find out if they will be a good fit for your family.

You and your new teacher decide which day and time you would like lessons and when you want lessons to start. Payment information will be sent to you.

The first month’s fees are due by the first lesson. Lesson fees are then paid on a monthly basis and are due on the first of each month. All fees are paid directly to Piano Time Music by cheque, Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal.

In-Studio Lessons

Come for lessons in one of our many home studios.


Studio teachers have the advantage of having all of their teaching materials close at hand to use in a lesson.


Families are matched with teachers in the same geographical area.

All lessons are taught through independently contracted music teachers who have a passion for music and teaching.

Our Teachers

It takes a very special person to be a teacher with Piano Time Music. Teachers have undergone personal, academic, professional, and criminal background checks.

They must be friendly, experienced, and have a love for teaching. Most importantly they must have a passion for music that they will pass on to their students!


We don’t take any money or financial information before the first lesson is scheduled.

In-Studio Lesson Tuition
 $20 for each 30 minute lesson*
 Plus a one-time registration fee of $20 per student.
 GST exempt. Our teachers do not charge travel fees.

*$23 per 30 minutes for RCM exam prep grades 6+
